William Reynolds 3v3 Holiday Classic Tournament Returns!
Parkdale Flames Hockey Association is happy to announce that the popular mid-season 3v3 Holiday Classic in honour of long time member William Reynolds will return this fall. The tournament spanning over three days includes all Parkdale Flames teams from all age categories and will run from Friday, December 1 – Sunday, December 3rd at McCormicks Arena. The weekend will be filled with over 60 fast paced, high scoring, competitive hockey games that will keep all at the edge of their seats and will also include bonus “celebrity” game showcasing Parkdale Flames Board Members versus a team of Bantam and Midget Tournament All-Stars named by their respective coaches.

A Duty Man will lock and unlock your dressing room, provide you with the game sheet, provide the team with drinks after the game and generally assist you.
We reserve the right to suspend any flood to stay on time.
Your dressing room will be ready 20-30 minutes before the game time.
The Home Team will complete the game sheet first and turn it over to the Visiting Team at least 15 minutes before game time. The Visiting Team will return the game sheet to the Committee Room at least 5 minutes before game time.
Each team should advise the announcer at least 10 minutes before game time of any difficult name pronunciations.
Your team should be ready to go on the ice at least 10 minutes before game time and vacate the dressing room as quickly as possible after your game to allow for cleaning.
Two minutes before game time, the Duty Man will summon your team to the ice entry gate. Do not go on the ice until the Duty Man signals you to do so.
At game time, the music will start and both teams will go on the ice for a short warm up.
The Tournament has been designed for the participants. It is our responsibility to make sure they enjoy it. Let’s do our part!!!
All players, to be eligible, must be registered with Parkdale Flames.
All players must be bonafide house league players, signed to Parkdale Flames house league
Any team listing and playing an ineligible player will default the game.
The tournament will be held on December 1st – 3rd 2017.
A maximum of 17 players, including goalkeepers, plus 3 team officials may be registered and listed on the game sheet.
Only 4 team officials registered with league shall be allowed on the bench during any game. No injured players are allowed to be on the bench.
Starting line-up rule is waived.
All players, including goalkeepers, must wear CSA approved helmets with facemasks and BNQ approved neck protectors.
All games will be played at McCormick’s Arena, 179 Brock St. Toronto, ON
There is no door fee for the tournament.
There will be 5 divisions ( Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midgets)
Novice,Atom, Pee-wee & Bantam guaranteed a minimum of 5 games over two days. All teams make it to the final four on Sunday. Each team plays one back to back game.
Midgets guaranteed a minimum of 4 games on Friday, Top 2 teams advance to Final four on Sunday.
Each game will consist of one fifteen minute running time period.
All games will be played under the GTHL and Hockey Canada rules with the following exceptions:
Any player incurring a 10-minute misconduct penalty in a game will be suspended for the next game.
A player receiving a game misconduct penalty or a major penalty (5 minutes) for fighting will automatically be suspended for the balance of the game plus the next game.
Ungentlemanly conduct, e.g. fighting in the arena or grounds adjacent to the arena, will result in the coaches and/or player(s) being suspended until a hearing is held by the Tournament Committee.
Stick penalties – high sticking, cross checking, slashing, tripping, butt ending and spearing will be called closely. A player receiving 3 stick penalties in a game will automatically receive a game injection.
